Philosophy

Coole & Co is founded on three core pillars; Excellence, Empathy and Efficiency. Founder and Principal Lawyer Amy Coole has a professional background defined by a commitment to public service and rigorous legal practice, having worked across various government departments and the not-for-profit sector. Amy has appeared in the Children's Court of WA, the Family Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of WA and the High Court of Australia. Amy has developed a strong technical foundation in litigation built on high ethical standards. However, Amy believes that family law is about more than just a process—it is about the people involved. She is driven by the principle that every client deserves a high-quality service, delivered with care. Her own practice is now predominately focused on assisting clients to mediate, or negotiate, their matters to avoid the need for lengthy court processes. Amy is a South West local and mother of two young children. Her local knowledge is often used to tailor advice to her clients, especially with parenting arrangements.
