Founder and Principal Lawyer Amy Coole has a professional background defined by a commitment to public service and rigorous legal practice, having worked across various government departments and the not-for-profit sector.
She has appeared in the Children's Court of WA, the Family Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia. She has developed a strong technical foundation in litigation built on high ethical standards and model litigation practices.
Amy believes that family law is about more than just the legal process, it's about the people and relationships involved. She is driven by the principle that every client deserves a high-quality service, delivered with care and understanding.
Amy is also a South West local and mother of two children. Her local knowledge is often used to tailor advice to her clients, especially with parenting arrangements.

Frequently Asked
Fixed-fee means you know the total cost of your legal service upfront, before any work begins. No hourly billing surprises. The price you see is the price you pay for the defined scope of work.
We offer fixed-fee services where possible.
If additional work is required beyond the fixed-fee scope — for example, if further disclosure is needed for a consent order application — additional work is charged at $300 per hour. We will always discuss this with you before any additional costs are incurred.
We provide advice on all areas of family law such as separation, divorce, property settlements, parenting arrangements and incidental matters including family violence retraining orders and child support.

As a small firm, we undertake a limited number of litigation files, generally for existing clients, where mediation or negotiation has been attempted and failed. We recommend exploring other local firms with a greater focus on litigation if your matter is heavily contested.
