Principal & Founder Amy founded Coole & Co in 2026 with a clear mission: to provide person-focused family law services to the Bunbury community. Her professional background is defined by a commitment to public service and rigorous legal practice. Having appeared in the Family Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court, and the Federal Circuit Court, Amy has developed a technical foundation built on the high ethical standards of government and not-for-profit practice. Amy believes that family law is about more than just a process—it is about the people involved. If you are recently separated and need general advice about your rights, entitlements and obligations under family law, this appointment is your starting point. We will advise you of the relevant law, your options to resolve your matter, and key time limits. This appointment is for verbal advice only and does not include detailed strategic advice.

Strategic Advice Service
From $600
Strategic legal advice about your specific legal matter, with recommendations for how to resolve the issues you are facing. Includes a 1 hour phone appointment, review of your Client Information Form, and a written letter of advice.

Standard Appointment
$350/hr
For existing clients or those whose matters have been ongoing for some time. This appointment is limited to what can be discussed in one hour. Further issues will require additional appointments.

Frequently Asked
Fixed-fee means you know the total cost of your legal service upfront, before any work begins. No hourly billing surprises, no unexpected invoices. The price you see is the price you pay for the defined scope of work.
If additional work is required beyond the fixed-fee scope — for example, if further disclosure is needed for a consent order — additional work is charged at $300 per hour. We'll always discuss this with you before any additional costs are incurred.
We handle property settlements, parenting matters (custody and access), and Family Violence Restraining Orders (FVROs). Our initial consultation covers any of these areas.
